Global Warming on Ice
Many people do not understand the concept of Global Warming. The skeptics point to the colder winters in Florida as "proof" that Global Warming is a myth. With this piece, I hope to attract the general public and use the opportunity to explain some basics of Global Warming.

The art consists of an electric energy-producing bicycle. This human-powered bicycle will run a freezer that will try to keep an ice sheet cold and prevent it from melting.

Concept
The inspiration for the piece comes from the research on the arctic ice and its incredibly rapid rate of melting. Throughout the festival, attendees will be invited to help "cool the world" as well as learn some facts about Global Warming and what they can do to help reduce their carbon footprint.
